Clarification Needed on Dubai Transport Card Usage

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question about using the Dubai transport card. I recently purchased a Nol card, but I'm unsure about a few things. Firstly, can I use the same card for both the Metro and bus services or do I need separate cards?

Secondly, how do I check the card balance and top it up? Any advice on managing the card for optimal use would be greatly appreciated.
