Extra Super Zhewitra is a medication that contains two active ingredients: Vardenafil (a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor, similar to Viagra) and Dapoxetine (a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, used to treat premature ejaculation). The combination of these two substances can influence blood pressure in the following ways:
- Vardenafil and Blood Pressure:
- Extra Super Zhewitra works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, which allows for increased blood flow and helps men with erectile dysfunction (ED) achieve and maintain an erection. However, it can also have a systemic effect on blood vessels, leading to vasodilation (widening of blood vessels), which can cause a temporary drop in blood pressure.
- This drop in blood pressure is generally mild, but in certain individuals—especially those who are taking other medications to lower blood pressure (like nitrates or alpha-blockers)—this effect can be more pronounced and potentially dangerous, leading to symptoms like dizziness, fainting, or even heart complications.
- Dapoxetine and Blood Pressure:
- Dapoxetine, being an SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor), influences the serotonin levels in the brain, which can indirectly affect various physiological processes, including blood pressure regulation.
- While Extra Super Zhewitra itself is not known to cause significant changes in blood pressure, SSRIs can sometimes affect blood pressure, either by lowering or raising it in some individuals, depending on factors like dosage or preexisting conditions.
- Combined Effects:
- When taken together in Extra Super Zhewitra, the blood pressure effects of Vardenafil (which causes a mild decrease in blood pressure) may be compounded by any effects from Dapoxetine. In certain people, this combination could lead to undesirable fluctuations in blood pressure.
