I’ve been flying the F/A-18C a lot in DCS and started getting into skinning and repainting. I'd love to suggest a few historical liveries that aren’t available yet — like some old-school ones from Gulf War or early 2000s carrier groups. Is there a specific thread or place in the forums where people put in requests or share their wishlist for new paint schemes?

You're in luck — there's actually a dedicated thread for exactly that. A lot of people in the DCS community are into skinning and there’s an active wishlist thread where users share requests for new liveries and even offer to create them. It’s also a good place to check if someone’s already working on what you’re looking for. You can post screenshots or references and see if any skinners pick it up.
