Starting today, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can easily invite friends to join their Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) sessions via a simple sharable link. Additionally, more games you own are now playable on the cloud, expanding the gaming options available.

Invite Friends to Join Your Cloud Gaming Session
From today, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can send invites to other members to join their cloud gaming sessions directly from supported browsers and TVs. Whether you're playing a multiplayer game, just generate an invite link through the game invite menu in the Xbox Guide or in-game, then send it to your friends.
You can share the invite link through direct messages, group chats, or even social media platforms, offering flexibility for how you connect with others. Once your friends have the link, they can join the session right from their web browser or supported TV.
How to Join a Game Session:
On a Web Browser or Mobile Device:
Open the invite link using a supported browser.
Sign in with your Xbox profile.
Select "Play with Ultimate."
On a TV:
Open the invite link on a mobile device or PC.
Click "Join on a different device" to get a short code.
On your TV, open the Xbox Guide and select "Have a game session code?"
Enter the code from the browser to begin playing.
Important Notes:
All players must have an Xbox account, and some games may require Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Players need to own the game to join a session.
The number of players who can join depends on the game's player limit.
Invite creators can revoke links at any time to stop new players from joining.
