  • Role of blockchain press release distribution play in educating mainstream audiences?

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how misunderstood blockchain still is outside of our Web3 circles. We throw around terms like decentralization, consensus, on-chain data, but for the average person or business, it still feels confusing or even intimidating.

That’s why I’ve been exploring how blockchain press release distribution can help bridge that gap — not just to hype up projects, but to educate people on what blockchain is actually doing in the real world. Whether it’s being used in supply chain, healthcare data, voting systems, or digital identity, these use cases need more visibility — and not just on crypto Twitter.

But here’s my question: are we using blockchain press release distribution the right way, or are we just repeating buzzwords that don’t connect with non-technical audiences?

If we want mainstream adoption, we need to do a better job of storytelling — and press releases, when done right, can be a solid vehicle for that. But most of what I see out there is full of jargon and focused more on raising capital than communicating actual value.

Have you seen examples of blockchain-focused PR that actually landed well with general tech press or even business media? How did they frame the message in a way that resonated with real-world concerns?

Also — what platforms are best for distributing blockchain press releases if the goal is education and trust, not just hype?

Would love to hear from founders, marketers, or anyone who’s had to explain blockchain to a non-crypto audience and used PR as part of that strategy.

    Let’s talk substance over noise.
