Wondering how to turn on the keyboard backlight on MacBook Air? It’s simple! On most MacBook Air models, the keyboard backlight adjusts automatically based on ambient lighting. To control it manually, press the F5 key to decrease and F6 key to increase brightness. If the keys don’t work, go to System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Backlight and enable manual controls. You can also use the Control Center (macOS Ventura and above) to adjust it quickly.
