I simply wanted to let everyone who's on the fence know how excited I am about antique auctions maybe encourage them. Seeing objects with so much history is quite fascinating, and auctions are a great interactive approach to explore everything. One last weekend, I went and was astounded by the range on show. There was everything for every taste from classic furniture and ancient valuable books to vintage jewelry. Every piece has a narrative, therefore you never know what you might find—every item is a great delight to learn about and how it got to the auction block.
